Anna examines the emergence of female stained-glass artists and their invaluable output for churches and domestic projects all throughout the UK. From familiar names such as Mary Lowndes, who set up the firm Lowndes and Drury to lesser known artist such as Isabel Gloag this talk will look not only at their contribution but also their early links to the suffrage movement and beyond.
